Anemos villas stand above the lacy coastline of Rodakino village (South Rethymno). About 2,5 kms east from the beautiful traditional village of Rodakino where are a couple of nice tavernas and a small market. The area of Rodakino bay is considered to be one of the loveliest landscapes on Crete. The surrounding area is full of silver -green hills with olive-trees and the whole region is famous for its products of olive-oil, honey and local cheese. Not much further is Korakas, a 350 m stretch of beach. The most famous resort in South Crete, the village of Plakias is 12 km away. The distance from Rethymnon town is 39 km, from Heraklion airport 120km, and from Chania airport is 100 km. Highlights of the area are : Preveli Palm beach,the historic monastery of Preveli, Frangokastello castle, Samaria gorge, Chora Sfakion village, Eleftherna arch. Site, the unique town of Rethymno, Phaestos and Gortyna archaeological-sites, the Krioneritis Mountain, Aghia Galini village, Kotsifou and Kourtalioti gorges the Triopetra and Agios Pavlos beach.
