Kalami is famous because it was the place that Lawrence Durrel, the famous british author, lived and got his inspiration from.The distance from the pebbly beach is 30 meters. Local amenities such as mini markets, shops, bars and tavernas can be found within 250 meters radius. Greater variety can be found in Kassiopi town at 9 kms away or in Corfu town at 37 kms away. Car hire is recommended.
