The villa is located in Tersanas,a very beautiful natural bay that got its name from the 600 years old, small Venecian shipyard. At the area there are some luxurious villas, rental apartments and hotels all with trees and gardens. The sandy beach in the bay which is only half a minute walking from our Villa, is ideal for swimming as it has sandy shallow and smooth bottom, mostly calm and crystal clear waters. A small coffee bar at the one side of the bay, with sun umbrellas will refresh you as well as a very nice taverna on the other side, will offer you its local specialties.In our Bay there is Diving service, available upon request and Canoe provided free by us. From the villa you can walk or bike ( free bicycles are available at the villa) using the beautiful lanes of the area and see the famous place of Stavros where the movie ' Alexis Zorbas ' was filmed. In close distance there are two very important Historical Monasteries builded during the Venician era in Crete surrounded by high walls, real jewels of Crete. In the near village of Horafakia ( 1 kilometer away) there is Public Transportaion to the City of Chania, taxi service, rental cars office, tavernas and super market.
